Rural Electrification Agency (REA) has signed project grant agreements with green energy firm PriVida to deploy mini-grids under the Nigeria Electrification Project (NEP).
The deal will see PriVida deploy within 12 months from the deal signing mini-grids in 25 communities, providing 22,000 new electricity connections in unserved communities.
PriVida has partnered with leading clean energy companies to design and deploy retail solar solutions in West and Central Africa, including Cameroon. The company aims to deliver 10,000MW from renewable energy sources.
